Welcome To The Practice

The latest NHS guidance requires:

If you have symptoms of coronavirus, you will need to stay at home for 7 days

If you live with someone who has symptoms, you will need to stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person in the home started having symptoms.

If you live with someone who is 70 or over, has a long-term condition, is pregnant or has a weakened immune system, try to find somewhere else for them to stay for 14 days

If you have to stay at home together, try to keep away from each other as much as possible

Symptoms and what to do

Do not leave your home if you have either:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

To protect others, do not go to places like a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Stay at home. Use the 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do.

Only call 111 if you cannot get help online.

Important - Call 111 for advice if you're worried about a baby or child.

If they seem very unwell, are getting worse or you think there's something seriously wrong, call 999. For full advice see https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

In order to minimise the potential spread of illness and to protect our staff and other patients, we are offering telephone or video consultations. All routine blood tests are temporarily suspended.

About Our Practice

This was a single-handed GP Practice, which means that the patients see the same GP virtually all the time. However with the Practice increasing in size over the years the Practice now has a taken another partner Dr J S Sanghera (male) and also offers consultations with female GP's who are available for 2 sessions a week. We are still a small Practice and patients seem to enjoy the fact that this leads to personal attention and a continuation of care that large practices do not facilitate. All consultations with the Doctor and Nurse are strictly confidential. Dr. Jheeta and Dr Sanghera speak Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati as well as English, which greatly enhances the care given to patients who speak these languages.

The Practice now offers

1. Online ordering of repeat prescriptions

2. Online appointment bookings

3. Access to your Medical records ie Medications, immunisations, Allergies and adverse reactions. Please click here for more information and here to download FAQ's.

You will need to complete an application form for detailed access to your medical records, this is available from the surgery.
